Privacy Policy for TextLabX - Text Tools
This privacy policy applies to the TextLabX - Text Tools mobile application (hereby referred to as "App") created by AcropX ("we," "our," or "us"). This App is provided as an Ad-Supported service and is intended for use "AS IS".
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy details the types of data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data, in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.
1. Overview of App Functionality
TextLabX is a utility application designed for text manipulation. Features include text repeating, styling, ASCII/Emoji art creation, and "Direct Chat" shortcuts for messaging apps.
2. Data Collection and Use (Data Safety)
To ensure transparency and comply with the Google Play Data Safety section, we categorize data into two types:
2.1. User Input Data (Processed Locally)
- Text Content: Text generated, styled, or repeated within the App is processed locally on your device's CPU.
- Phone Numbers (Direct Chat): When using the "Direct Chat" feature (e.g., to open WhatsApp without saving a contact), the phone number is used strictly to generate a deep link intent (e.g.,
wa.me/number). This number is handed off directly to the operating system to open your messaging app. It is never saved to a database or sent to AcropX.
2.2. Automatically Collected Data (Third-Party)
We use trusted third-party services to maintain app stability and display advertisements. These services may collect the following data:
- Device Identifiers: Advertising ID (GAID) and Android ID.
- Usage Data: Interaction data (features used, screen time) to help us improve the App.
- Diagnostics: Crash logs and performance data (ANR rates) to fix bugs.
- Approximate Location: IP-based coarse location (Country/City level) used by ad networks to show relevant ads.
3. App Permissions
The App requires specific Android permissions to function. We request the minimum permissions necessary:
- INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to load advertisements (AdMob) and transmit anonymous crash reports (Firebase).
- com.whatsapp (Package Visibility): Used only to check if WhatsApp is installed on your device to facilitate the Direct Chat feature.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data with the following third-party providers for analytics and advertising purposes. We encourage you to review their privacy policies:
-
Google AdMob
Used for advertising. Google may use your device's Advertising ID to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
Read Google AdMob Policy -
Google Analytics for Firebase
Used for usage analytics.
Read Firebase Analytics Policy -
Firebase Crashlytics
Used for crash reporting.

5. Data Retention and Deletion
5.1. Account Deletion
TextLabX does not utilize User Accounts. You do not create a login, username, or profile to use the App. Therefore, we do not store personal account data that requires a deletion request mechanism.
5.2. Advertising Data
Data collected by third-party partners (AdMob/Firebase) is retained according to their specific policies (typically up to 26 months for analytics). You can reset your Advertising ID in your Android device settings at any time to disassociate your device from historical ad profiles.
6. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
7. GDPR and CCPA Rights
- GDPR (Europe): Users in the EEA have the right to access, rectify, or erase their personal data. Since we do not store personal data directly, please manage your consent via your device settings or the privacy options within the App (if available).
- CCPA (California): California residents have the right to opt-out of the "sale" of personal information. In the context of AdMob, you may opt-out of personalized advertising via your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
